ersey Bowmen has four men's teams and two ladies' teams.

Last year, 2006 brought mixed fortunes for the Mersey Bowmen teams, with a mixture of promotions and relegations for the teams

The ladies 1st team won B division byv a country mile, and have been promoted back up to A Division, while the ladies' 2nd team again narrowly missed out on promotion; both Vicky and Galia have agreed to stay on as captain, so both teams will be building on last season's successes.

The men's 1st team was relegated from A division to B division, and rumour has if they'll be asking some of the girls to play for them this year. The mens' 2nd team came 3rd in B division, which means that both the 1st and 2nd teams will play in B division this year - Mike Kee will captain them both. Clare and Tony Horton's 3rd team came 3rd in their division, narrowly missing promotion, while the mens' 4th team came 2nd under the captaincy of Mark Burns, clinching promotiom to H division.

So a busy season looms... Our two ladies' teams and four mens' teams start their league action in the first week in May.
